Response to Global Atheism

Dr Greg Clark of the Centre for Public Christianity has begun a series on 'A response to Global Atheism' with an article on 'The Accident of Unbelief'. In particular it addresses the issue of the rarity of genuine Atheists.

  1. The author seems to think it is acceptable to conclude in favour of the reality of human value systems based on'a priori' assumptions about the existence of God, for whom we have no evidence without making the assumptions first. This is not evidence based assumptions. It is assumption based evidence. I didn't care much for the article or the arguments in it. I think there are far more non-serious believers out there than there are non-serious atheists. Peace.
